This thesis investigates whether a newborn hearing screening program may be implemented in Malawi to allow for the early identification and treatment of hearing loss. The objectives include determining the efficacy and acceptability of the program as well as its cost-effectiveness and finding the best screening techniques, analyzing the program’s results, and making implementation suggestions.
